The management of venous disease is undergoing significant change. It is no longer the exclusive domain of the vascular surgeon and every surgical intervention requires justification. At the Charing Cross International Symposium we will hear that varicose veins can be treated in the office environment by dermatologists and interventionalists and that surgeons can learn these new endovascular techniques.
For the first time the Charing Cross Programme directors have introduced a dedicated CX Venous Day covering the management of varicose veins, venous ulcers and DVT on Tuesday 17 April.
