M3 Medical, part of the Uniphar Medtech Group, recently announced that it has launched its endovenous portfolio into the UK market.
A press release notes that this next step in M3 Medical’s growth brings together two international partners: French vascular laser expert LSO Medical, with whom M3 Medical has enjoyed a successful partnership for more than a decade in Ireland, and VB Devices, a Barcelona-based company known for developing precision technology for venous procedures.
M3 Medical shares that, compared with traditional surgical approaches, endovenous techniques are associated with shorter procedure times, quicker recovery for patients and the potential to perform treatment in outpatient or day-case settings. As rates of chronic venous disease continue to rise, endovenous therapies are increasingly seen as a core part of modern venous care pathways across the UK National Health Service (NHS) and private sector.
The company states that the partnerships bring best-in-class solutions under one integrated endovenous platform, delivering “consistency, performance, and clinical excellence” in the management of venous disease. “The combination of leading technologies and M3’s experienced clinical specialists will provide UK healthcare professionals with a new standard of support, education, and on-the-ground expertise,” the press release reads.
“Our partnership approach is built on trust, innovation, and shared commitment to patient outcomes,” said Brendan McConnell, managing director, M3 Medical. “With LSO Medical and VB Devices alongside us, we’re proud to bring a unified endovenous solution to the UK that reflects M3’s longstanding values of quality and collaboration.”
“Endovenous techniques are now central to modern venous care, but their effectiveness depends on the right technology and local clinical support,” said Philippe Rochon, CEO and owner, LSO Medical. “Extending our long-standing partnership with M3 Medical into the UK allows us to support clinicians with established solutions in a practical, sustainable way.”
“Our ambition is to enable simpler, more secure, and faster procedures in vascular medicine. Technologies such as Varixio are designed to standardise and automate key steps in treatments like foam sclerotherapy, helping clinicians achieve greater consistency. Working with M3 Medical helps ensure these innovations are introduced in the UK with the right training and clinical support,” added Federico Grego, CEO, VB Devices.
